In Memory - Bruce Roger Pfau

of Bruce’s Life

  Born in Chicago, raised in Miami Oklahoma and Memphis Tennessee. He spent time in Seattle area, Mexico City and New York City.

  Bruce came to visit East Haddam in the early 1970s, fell in love with the town, moved here and never looked back.

  Since the 1990s Bruce worked as an occupational rehab therapist with seniors, first at the East Haddam Senior Center, then to Salvation Army, the Day Club and, most recently at Chestelm Rehab Center in Moodus

  Much loved by family and friends, son of the late Roger and Lynn Pfau, he is survived by those many friends as well as his spouse and partner Will Brady, his sister Susan Pier, his brother Thomas Pfau, nephews John Pier and Steven Pfau, nieces Pamela Stransky and Adrienne Frasie.

  He also did stints as a dealer of fine arts and antiques, a writer and raconteur and a US Army Veteran 
 He didn’t want a funeral.
